NT News urges readers to put the paper behind them

With its celebrated predisposition to toilet humour, Darwin's NT News had made sure readers aren't torn between options.

Read the paper or - as Winston Churchill once said - "put it behind you"?

No problem, with the News Corp Australia masthead bringing its own solution to the country's rush on toilet paper - eight (almost) blank pages.

Tweets from the northern capital suggest the problem may be imaginary, but if it got readers into the shops, so much the better!
