Politicians and businesspeople learned about digitalisation in print production during a presentation at manroland Goss's headquarters in Augsburg.
Among those at a presentation covering the new MainPad maintenance tablet were Bavarian minister for economic affairs Franz Josef Pschierer.
manroland Goss web systems and development partner XITASO outlined the aim of providing intelligent machines "in the near future". It's an aim requiring a central information hub for relevant information, a role fulfilled by the MainPad.
A panel discussion panel included Pschierer, manroland Goss technology and development vice president Manuel Kosok, as well as Stefan Schimpfle of the aitipark start-up centre, Augsburg university healthcare professor Jens Brunner, and XITASO managing partner Ulrich Huggenberger.
