After helping steer EAE through its restructuring post its acquisition by QI Press Controls, Werner Ringel is handing the baton to not one but two new managing directors.
One is Heiko Küttner, 47, who has been with EAE since 1995 and becomes managing director responsible for development, projects and service. He has held a number of managerial positions in software programming and customer service, and was appointed chief technical officer and officer with power of attorney in 2008.
New to the company is Jörg Westphal, 50, who joins from Gämmerler to become managing director for sales, marketing and finance. He has 20 years' experience in the printing industry, and was managing director of Gämmerler GmbH in Geretsried, Upper Bavaria, for the past four years.
Owner of the QI Group Menno Jansen says he is extremely happy with the new line-up: "We are very pleased to be able to appoint Heiko Küttner to the general management team and to have Jörg Westphal, an experienced managing mirector sales, join EAE.
"With these two at the helm, we can look forward to a bright future."
Küttner and Westphal will continue to drive forward the company's diversification into intralogistics service.
Jansen says Ringel "did some great work, and he is leaving the company excellently placed for the future." He will retire at the end of September 2017.
