SPH news centre visit for Publish Asia delegates

A visit to Singapore Press Holdings' press centre and an outline of the changes taking there are among highlights of Publish Asia in May.

SPH chief executive Ng Yat Chung is one of two opening keynoters at the WAN Ifra event, which includes the Newsroom Summit Asia.

Communications and information minister S. Iswaran will also speak on the opening day, May 7, with Innovation Media Consulting president Juan Señor named for the closing address.

The event - with the theme of is Transforming the Business of News - is at the Novotel Singapore on Stevens from May 7-9. Before the conference proper is a day of deep-dive masterclasses on May 7, with the Asian Media Awards dinner on May 8. The visit to Singapore Press Holdings' newly-revamped newsrooms (pictured) is on May 9.
