New head for EidosMedia's UK subsidiary

EidosMedia has named Philip Allen to manage the London subsidiary serving the media and financial publishing markets in the UK and Nordic countries.

The Méthgode developer says Allen will take over from UK director Patrick Mawhood.

In the UK, EidosMedia's digital publishing platforms are used by the Financial Times and News UK titles including the Sun, the Times and the Sunday Times, as well as by an increasing number of by international banking institutions and financial organisations.

Philip Allen has held senior sales positions with leading providers of enterprise-level IT systems and has particular experience of content-management solutions for the financial services sector. "I've been very impressed by the power and quality of EidosMedia's solutions," he says, " and am looking forward to helping existing and future customers get the maximum benefit from them."

EidosMedia chief executive Gabriella Franzini welcome him to the company: "We are sure that his experience will be invaluable in serving our existing customers in the UK, as well as extending the use of our digital publishing products in the banking and financial sectors.
