WAN-Ifra has rescheduled its India 2020 Conference in Chennai, moving it from just before to just after its World News Media Congress event in Saragova, Spain.
New date for the 28th annual conference - originally planned for September 16-17 - will be September 23-24, a week after WNMC.
Organisers say the event, which last year attracted more than 350 delegates, is being designed to reflect the 'new normal' to which the news publishing industry is getting accustomed.
It will feature Future of News Summit, a forward-looking event to discuss strategies, best practices and challenges in the news publishing business; a parallel Printing Summit for production managers (on September 23-24); with the Women in News Summit the day before the conference (September 22).
An expo and networking dinner are also planned. The conference has currently opened a call for speakers and topic suggestions.
