Digital printing innovator Xeikon has opened an innovation centre in Shanghai to support expanding Chinese markets.
The company - which also builds OEM newspaper platesetters for Agfa Graphics - says the facility will be a dedicated and welcome place of interaction where visitors and customers can test applications and options for new revenue streams and business growth.
Xeikon is continuing to develop new solutions mainly for label and packaging markets, and the Shanghai centre will be equipped to house latest equipment and technologies.
General manager Asia, states Klaus Nielsen says the company is seeing unprecedented global growth in the desire for digital printing solutions: "We are very pleased to be able to open this important Innovation Center in Shanghai and bring our technology to this region."
