International print trade fair DRUPA is ‘open’ for exhibitor registrations ahead of the 2028 Düsseldorf event.

Wolfram Diener calls it “the ultimate international platform where vision and reality meet”, and although there’s little if any relevant hardware to view, it retains a role as a networking centre for newspaper print management.

The event is being held from May 9-17, 2028 at the Düsseldorf Messe, with exhibitor registrations due to close on October 31 this year, though we doubt prospective bookins after that date would be turned away.

Messe chief executive Diener stresses the importance of partnerships, “crucial for successfully transforming new technologies into marketable solutions and jointly shaping the next stage of development in the industry”.

Drupa print technologies portfolio director Sabine Geldermann says no other platform offers the opportunity to experience integrated solutions, networked workflows and running machines live in such density and diversity. “The combination of technology and creativity is what determines competitiveness and market success today, and DRUPA is the world’s leading platform for bringing together technological innovations that are able to be translated into marketable solutions.”

Organisers are looking to expand the range of exhibitors with AI and automation increasingly impacting the printing industry globally, with a specific focus on brand owners, designers and creative professionals from the print and packaging sectors.
