The man with tolerance in his UAE portfolio, Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan is to be guest of honour at WAN-Ifra's 14th Middle East Conference.

The event from March 6-7 in Dubai will see the new cabinet minister give the opening keynote presentation. He has held a number of government portfolios including higher education and scientific research, education, and culture and knowledge development since joining the federal government in 1992.

He was named minister of tolerance in the new cabinet announced in October 2017. His background includes the chancellorship of UAE University from 1983-2013; of Higher Colleges of Technology from 1988-2013; and president of Zayed University from 1998-2013. He was educated at Britain's Millfield School and Magdalen College, Oxford.

Global experts will share their experiences, case studies and best practices for newsroom and paid-content strategies at the conference, which is being held in Dubai Knowledge Park Conference Center.
