Financial daily the ‘Hong Kong Economic Times’ is adding to its fleet of Solna presses with a new high-speed D390 line.

Success for the Swedish press manufacturer and its exclusive agent Ekpac Graphics – now both part of Wifag – with the D390 and its predecessor (the D380) has made Solna number two in China in terms of single-width, single-round press units sold.

HKET is the leading financial daily in Hong Kong and a long established and faithful Solna customer and user.

The new line will consist of eight four-high towers and one folder. An existing Solna D380 pressline will be extended with two additional D390 four-high towers.

The press is due to go into production this (northern) autumn.

The additions will bring HKET’s line-up to 72 of Solna’s 2+1 printing units, 48  mono and 20 two-colour towers.
