Creative digital agency DutchGiraffe has launched a responsive publishing platform for WordPress users.

Director Tjeerd Hoppenbrouwers says WordPress Magazine is a response to growing mobile use. "Everywhere you look, people are busy using their tablet or smartphone," he says.

"Digital magazines are booming as a marketing tool, but producing them has been an art, and it is nigh impossible to get them onto a smartphone or tablet in a pleasant and legible format. We saw a need arise for a tool that makes that easier."

The product is aimed at magazine and corporate publishers - "even individuals publishing their own periodicals" - and connects the powerful CMS features of WordPress to an email distribution system. The magazine is automatically optimised for smartphone, tablet and desktop.
