Vizrt is to introduce new tools for detailed sports analysis following experience at the soccer World Cup in Brazil.

They include design tools to work with video and graphics in Adobe After Effects, Maxon Cinema 4D, and Viz Artist, and an upcoming tool to manage After Effects projects.

Vizrt was heavily involved in the Brazil event, with staff from Europe, Asia and the Americas assisting broadcasters in Rio de Janeiro from a base at the International Broadcast Center.

A World Cup interactive studio solution used by more than 30 broadcasters covered all aspects of a studio show for the tournament, with interactive elements controlled via touchscreen or iPad, and integrated with social media, external stats and weather data.

The new technologies – which combine Vizrt’s graphics and studio automation capabilities – are being shown IBC 2014 in Amsterdam, with events from September 13-17.
