Every new subscription is a good one, and the International New York Times has been taking sales to the road.

Last weekend GXpress associate editor Maggie Coleman caught up with Corey Chandler on a stand at Brisbane Fitness and Health Expo.

Gold Coast-based Chandler (pictured) says the efforts is all part of a global subscription and marketing drive and he had just returned from a “very successful” Singapore event.

“I take the stand to many events like this as we find it a great way of reaching new online readers,” he says.

“We have gained several hundred subscribers over the past few months and boost our appeal to all age-groups this way, although it is generally the older customer who responds.”
