Not every story can be told in a 500-word take... and Eliza Goetze and Will Mumford have grabbed an opportunity to strut the attractions of long-form journalism.
The Newspapers Works duo took a look at reporting of the Victorian elections for the Australian industry association - using a combination of text, images and video to relate how election coverage has changed over the last few decades.
It's an interesting demonstration of what can be achieved with today's tools.
The multimedia piece included comment from editors and journalists from Melbourne's two major newspapers, The Age and the Herald Sun.
With the poll over and the outcome known, they've followed through with an updated version of the piece which looks at the election result, and gives newspaper editors an opportunity to sum up the campaign now that it's over.
