Parin Mehta, who was Google's regional head of strategic partnerships, is moving to online accommodation service Airbnb.

Mehta - who has worked for Google for nine years, the last four in Singapore - was a speaker at this year's Publish Asia conference in Manila.

The news follows the announcement that former Nike staffer Juliana Nguyen would join Airbnb as regional chief marketing officer, replacing Matthias Schuecking.

Since 2010, he has been active careers and business mentoring advisory Captain-CV, which helps talented people win job and graduate offers.

He was previously with Accenture and British Energy.
