Entries for this year's Asian Media Awards have been extended to February 8.

Organisers say the move follows numerous requests for more time.

Those who have already submitted entries are also able to refine and resend their entries.

The competition provides an opportunity to reward staff for hard work behind the scenes to make each cover, photo and story possible.

Winners will be honoured on May 8 during a gala dinner at the Publish Asia 2019 conference in Singapore.
