Editorial systems developer Eidosmedia says it has made the leap between “experimental AI” and reliable production-grade systems for content creation and delivery with a new “governed orchestration” platform.
What it calls AI Content OS “brings together enterprise-grade governance, compliance and publishing depth with a new layer of AI orchestration”.
Chief executive Christian Pelanconi says the aim is to extend the same trust and rigor of its existing offering into the age of AI.
He says “the gap between promise and production” had become the defining frustration of the industry, with AI stuck at ‘assist’ or ‘experiment’ – rarely trusted to run real work at scale, with outputs that could not be attributed or audited.
AI Content OS presents “a single governed layer that makes AI trustworthy enough to run the business on”.
Product research chief Rahul Ravikrishnan says its features deliver speed, scale and revenue with the confidence to run all of it in production.
“These are not abstractions. With AI Content OS, a newsroom can turn an archive that earns nothing after publication into a governed, conversational product and a new premium tier,” he says, “built entirely from content it already owns.
“A publisher can read the early signals of a subscriber drifting away and act before they cancel, converting and retaining readers across the full lifecycle rather than chasing open rates.”
AI Content OS is “built to meet customers wherever they stand”.
Chief technology officer Cristiano Meda says AI only becomes a competitive advantage “the moment it can be trusted to run in production – when a signal reliably becomes a story, a note or a decision ahead of everyone else.
“That is the moment AI Content OS is built for, and the culmination of everything we have learned since the first days of the AI wave.”
