Nine leverages Domain with TV programme, branding

Australia's Nine television is to turn the Domain property portal it acquired with FairfaxMedia into a programme.

The two will launch a new Saturday real estate show, Your Domain, hosted by Shelley Craft and Chris Kohler (pictured) from September 7.

Content will include localised property news, lifestyle tips and tricks and "real-life" case studies, the two say. Domain Research House market analysis is part of the mix, and there will also be opportunities for sellers to feature their properties.

Domain chief executive Jason Pellegrino says the programme is "the next stage" in their strategic partnership, and follows Domain's sponsorship of The Block.

"Through the strength and expertise of Nine in television production, we will now have a dedicated programme to complement our digital and publishing footprint."

The Your Domain brand will also be extended into Nine news and current affairs, and across Nine and Domain's digital, VOD and social media products, with Kohler becoming part of the Nine News reporting team.

Nine managing director of partnerships Lizzie Young says the brand will be developed as "the most effective marketing platform for property in Australia".

She said the launch was the first major initiative post-Fairfax merger, highlighting "the unique position we have" with the combined strength of Nine and Domain.
