Richard Kemp has succeeded Ian Johns as head of DIC Australia, in a move from UK DIC group member Sun Chemical.

In an interview with Australian Printer, he says market dynamics of the two countries are similar, with declining publication volumes and "stable or growing" packaging markets.

He says the company is "fully committed" to supporting its non-packaging customers however. The company remains "focussed" on traditional graphic arts markets while looking at organic or acquisition opportunities for diversification.
