Recommendation service Outbrain has named SVG Media its Indian sales partner, following the digital media company acquisition by Dentsu Aegis Network.

SVG, which will change its name to SVG Columbus, will have a team of ten working on the account in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

Outbrainsays it has experienced "massive growth" in India since its launch in early 2014. The partnership will strengthen its presence as it advances its product and services "to provide something truly valuable" for clients.

Sales director Neeraj Singhal says the partnership with SVG Media will enable them to better deploy technology, tools, proprietary analytics and insight capabilities.

"India has proven to be a market with huge potential for Outbrain and we've observed tremendous growth over the past few years," APAC head of operations Chris Mockford says.

SVG chief executive Anurag Gupta says his company works with almost all the leading brands in India and looks forward to bringing them to Outbrain's discovery solution. Over the last six years, SVG Media has been the India market entry partner for leading internet brands including Facebook, Twitter, OLX, LinkedIn and Zynga, contributing aggregate revenues of $2 billion to them.
