Colour management and proofing specialist GMG has opened a subsidiary in Japan, led by president Kazutami Ando. Responsible for distribution, logistics and technical support, GMG Japan will help the parent get closer to its clients and global industry partners by reinforcing its local distribution networks, the company says. "The Japanese market is the second largest print market in the world," says GMG managing director Paul Willems. "Establishing a new office in Tokyo underlines the significant role this strategic market plays for GMG." Ando says the company sees exceptional growth potential for GMG, whose product range "perfectly meets the demands of the Japanese graphic arts industry."
