Penrith Museum of Printing in Sydney’s outer west reopens on Sunday week after a substantial pandemic closure period.

Organisers are celebrating the event by inviting families to attend free on the day. The museum has been deep cleaned, machines fired up, and COVID-19 protocols put in place.

Member Stephan Peters says that despite the closure much has been going on “behind the scenes” with several activities for the museum. New and existing sponsors have been secured, and improvements to the website include automation of several functions.

The December 1 opening is being preceded by a tour for Active Care Network to which around 25 are expected.
