Dubai headquartered Layout International has strengthened its South Asia presence with a new Delhi-based appointment.

Industry veteran Kapil Arora (pictured) joined as Asia-Pacific sales director in September, from Hindustan Times publisher HT Media, where he was group head of publishing services. Prior to that, he spent time with CCI Europe and Atex, and earlier, 4CPlus, Business Standard, Quark Software , and the Indian Express.

Headquartered in Dubai with a technical infrastructure in the US, Malaysia and Lebanon, Layout International claims more than 30 years of experience in content management solutions for publishing.

Chief executive Jean-Michel Habis (above) says the company’s flagship NewsPublish CMS is known for its robust features, user-friendly interface, and seamless integration capabilities.

Among more than 200 publisher customers worldwide, are Malaysia’s Star Media Group, Japan Times, and the South China Morning Post.
