A cloud-based Newscycle web CMS has gone live at Skive Folkeblad in Denmark.
The daily news media company - which serves Jutland in northern Denmark - is using the Onset platform to create 'neutral first' content that can be shared for online or print.
Skive Folkeblad is Newscycle's first EMEA go live for Onset.
"We wanted to build a new, contemporary website based on a broadly used and flexible CMS," IT head Michael Østergård says, "and the Onset platform, based on Drupal 8, is much easier to use and maintain than our old CMS."
Skive Folkeblad's 20 journalists use Onset to create and manage content for the skivefolkeblad.dk website, as well as for two-way story sharing with the company's Newscycle Content editorial system.
Skive Folkeblad says readers are giving the new website "very positive responses" on its Facebook page. The next phase includes plans to add a paywall to enable subscribers to access premium content.
