Gentzel tells of Gannett's experiences as agency

The question of what it is for a newsmedia company to act as a digital agency is canvassed by a speaker at next week's Digital Media India event.

Gannett chief revenue officer Kevin Gentzel has joined the roster for the virtual conference, being held from March 2-4.

The business model at the centre of the US publisher's digital transformation is one of several as newsmedia look to embrace the opportunities in digital distribution of news.

Gentzel will share insights on what it is to be a digital agency, and how it helps both the advertising client to simplify their presence in digital and the publisher to generate high CPM.
