Signs are that Asia Print Expo is still about signs

Fespa UK has changed the name of its Bangkok trade show next February to 'Asia Print Expo 2019', but there's no sign (no pun intended) that the focus has been changed.

Speakers at the show's seminars will still be talking about screen, digital and textile printing "as well as environmental issues and sustainability".

So don't expect anything on newspaper or heatset.

The show is being held on February21-23. A free conference programme runs daily from 11 am with simultaneous translation in Thai and English.

Fespa technical support manager Graeme Richardson-Locke will present a daily seminar on colour management, and daily Print Census sessions hosted by executive director Sean Holt will look at "issues and trends shaping the print industry". Other sessions cover direct-to-garment printing, diversification,

signage and the corrugated industry.
