Packaging print was in the ascendant when press maker Koenig & Bauer took its roadshow to China, its twelfth since 2007.

More 800 people attended the events in Xian, Kunming, Shanghai, Shijiazhuang and Fuzhou, where the focus was on sheetfed offset technologies and full-process solutions for packaging production.

Centre of attraction in Shanghai was an eight-colour-plus coater Rapida 75 PRO at Shanghai Zhilin, the first supplied to a user in China.

Koenig & Bauer says the roadshow demonstrated once more how print companies in China are operating successfully on the world market thanks to modern equipment and technologies.
