Hyderabad, the capital of the four-year-old state of Telangana, is to play host to WAN-Ifra's twenty-sixth India Conference in September.

The event, from September 25-27, returns to the city after a gap of 14 years, and will include a number of major events.

These include the South Asia Summit of the World Editors Forum for editors, chief executives and journalists, and a regional conference of the World Printers Forum for production and technical managers.

Two pre-conference workshops, networking dinners and an interconnected expo will complete the event.

Venue is Hyderabad's International Convention Centre, where more than 400 senior publishing executives are expected to attend from South Asia and beyond. The workshops precede the conference on September 25.

Organisers say a visit to a modern printing plant in Hyderabad is planned for the conference's last day (September 27).

A visit to a modern printing plant in Hyderabad is also planned on the last day of the event, 27 September. Daily newspaper Namasthe Telangana installed a four-unit manroland Cromoman 4-1 press in 2016.

The conference offers various sponsorship opportunities for suppliers to highlight their presence and brand image. The booking for expo booth is open now. Please write to sureshbabu.kr@wan-ifra.org.
