technotrans will go further into plastics processing with the purchase of Reisner Cooling Energy's business from the administrator.
All 33 Reisner employees will be taken on and its Holzwickede location retained in an asset deal valued in the "middle six-figure" price range.
technotrans chief executive Dirk Engel says it will also expand the range of technology and services the group can offer in industrial cooling.
Reisner designs, builds and services cooling systems for companies in the plastics, metal and food processing sectors, as well as the chemical industry. The company - which filed for bankruptcy in April - has been posting annual revenue in the low single-digit millions.
technotrans has appointed Thomas Imenkämper as managing director.
