Netherlands-based manrolandGoss unit GWS Printing Systems has completed the relocation of a 48-page Lithoman heatset press to a customer in Turkiye.

The press is the third book printer Tuna Matbaacilik of Ankara has acquired through GWS in the past eight years.

Commissioning specialists from parent manroland Goss Augsburg joined the team after the record five-month relocation was completed in June.

Tuna managing director Tuna Yildirim said the latest Lithoman heatset press had been “a logical step” in the constant development of the company. “Tuna is a leading book printer in Turkey and wishes to stay leader and front runner when it comes to latest technology in print and advanced operation and productivity,” he said.

The partnership with GWS was “just a logical choice” after previous experiences, with GWS’ area sales executive Arthur Viguurs adding that this was “exactly what the company is known for”.
