Three Times of India mastheads and two Mathrubhumi editions are among new winners of WAN-Ifra’s ICQC Star Club membership.

Participants in the 2022-2024 International Colour Quality Club programme, the five were among seven sites which met ‘five-star’ criteria in high-quality newspaper production.

The others were Het Nieuwsblad from Paal-Beringen, and Sabah from Istanbul. Additionally Germany’s Heilbronner Stimme and Austria’s Druck Styria won Millennium Club membership for their ‘ten star’ status.

Thirty-nine titles won ICQC 2022-2024 status, giving them each an additional star.

Initiated in 1994, the biennial scheme sees publishers send in print publications for evaluation according to the ISO printing standard.
