Double duty as ABB reorganises management

Markus Greiner will add sales to his responsibility when he takes over as head of press control specialist ABB’s printing management.

He succeeds both Christian Villiger and head of sales Boris Falk, both of whom are leaving the company.

Greiner – a long-term member of the ABB Printing management team – took up his roles on Sunday. A computer science graduate, he had been head of development since the beginning of 2007, following two years as head of sales.

ABB says Villiger is taking up a new challenge outside the company, while Falk is joining Mediengruppe Pressedruck Augsburg in Germany.

Greiner thanked Villiger and Falk, who had done “an excellent job steering ABB Printing through the stormy seas that our industry has experienced in the last few years.

“Today’s solid financial position of ABB Printing would not have been possible without their tremendous efforts,” he says.
