Kenyan publisher Nation Media has signed for a five-tower manroland Colorman press.
The 4-1 e:line press will be installed by mid 2015, and print seven daily newspapers. It will have a web width of 1450 mm and print at up to 86,000 cph.
Automation manroland colour and the cut-off register, and two control consoles will have SlidePads and printnet Monitor for tracking, reporting and benchmarking.
Nairobi-based Nation Media was founded in 1959, and is the largest independent media house in East and Central Africa.
