Six German publishers are upgrading workflow with a system that safeguards against errors during production of editorial content.

Nordwest-Zeitung, Neue Westfälische, Lippische Landes-Zeitung and Verlagsgruppe HCS are using a ppiMedia mediaPreflight module in which standards are set and then coordinated to related systems in their workflow

The web-based tool tackles issues such as whether transparency, resolution, size and format of the images and ads are coherent, and fonts meet editorial specifications.

mediaPreflight, which replaces third-party systems already in use, ensures increased production security and transparency during the production workflow, checking whole pages, part-pages, ad motifs and their elements.
